1. Who we are

FeXpo Europe (“we”, “us”) is an international franchise exhibition held in Brussels. This website (fexpoeurope.com) is operated by Promedia Group BV, a company incorporated under Belgian law, with registered office at Hundelgemsesteenweg 169, 9050 Ghent, Belgium, registered with the Belgian Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 1021.789.090 (VAT BE 1021.789.090). We are the controller of the personal data described below. For any question about this policy, contact us at [email protected].

2. What data we collect

  • Visitor registration: your name and email address, and — where you provide them — company, job role and country.
  • Contact & exhibitor enquiries: your name, email address, company/brand and the content of your message.
  • Technical data: basic server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type) generated automatically when you visit, used only to keep the site secure and working.

We only collect the data you choose to give us, and the minimum needed for each purpose.

3. Why we use your data, and on what legal basis

  • To register you as a visitor and send your entry pass — based on your consent and to take steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).
  • To answer your contact or exhibitor enquiry and manage a possible exhibitor booking — based on pre-contractual steps and our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
  • To share your details with FeXpo Europe exhibitors and partners — only if you tick the optional consent box (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • To send you practical information about the event you registered for — based on legitimate interest; you can opt out at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

  • Exhibitors and partners of FeXpo Europe — only where you gave the optional consent above;
  • Service providers who help us run the event and this site (for example email, hosting and registration tools), acting on our instructions under a data-processing agreement;
  • Public authorities where we are legally required to do so.

Where a provider is located outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your registration and enquiry data for 24 months after the edition you registered for, after which it is deleted or anonymised, unless a longer period is required by law.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw any consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out). To exercise these rights, email [email protected].

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Rue de la Presse 35 / Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels — [email protected].

7. Cookies

This site uses only cookies or local storage that are strictly necessary for it to function and to remember your language choice. It does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If we add analytics or embedded content in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

8. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the “last updated” date shown above.
